Calling oneself an Atheist is likely as dangerous as calling oneself a Believer. It is better to be Tentative- and I say I have lost that calling to believe.

On the Pious Agnostic

Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan- former President of India-and Cambridge trained Philosopher and student of G.E.Moore called all Indians "Pious Agnostics". I write from this view- pleading that we need to generate a more humane, respectful, tender way of dealing with each other as human cultures to avoid the mass hatreds and killings that seem to beset our age.
